About Us

It was realized that there is potential in fish farming if only there is knowledge and investment to expand and increase production and in view of this, it was decide to peruse this project so that we can explore the opportunities in aquaculture knowing that this will also provide employment to the youths and largely contribute to the production in order to reduce the fish deficit currently obtaining in our country

Who are we ?

New fortune General Trading is a registered business with Patents and Companies Registration Agency of Zambia ACT 2010 part II.

Our Vision

The vision is to become one of the biggest suppliers of fish in the province of course integrating with a variety of vegetables which currently already being done to supply around Chipata the project is intended to produce about 15 tones of fish annually by 2028.

Our Mission

To reduce the gap between demand and supply of fish that is currently due low aquaculture production and contribute towards the deficit on the market as a province and the nation at large make as well as provide locally produced fish which will make fish readily available to local consumers and make prices affordable. The ever growing demand for fish can only be met through increased aquaculture production and hence the cause for the project

Objective

Our objective is to produce quality and healthy food for the general community. We look forward to produce at least 20 tonnes of fish annual.

    The Farm Manager is responsible for overall management and decision making regarding all the activities of the project. Works in hand in hand with The pond Operator Personel

    Pond operator Personel

    The pond Operator is responsible for daily routine activities such as feeding, sampling , harvesting, water management etc.

    Security Personel

    The security Guard is responsible for security of the ponds sites and the surroundings.
